Myanmar Heritage After the 2025 Sagaing Earthquake
(ผลกระทบของแผ่นดินไหวต่อมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมในเมียนมา)

The Liberal Arts Talk Project, in collaboration with SEAMEO SPAFA, cordially invites you to attend a lecture examining the impacts of the 2025 Sagaing earthquake on Myanmar’s cultural heritage.

The lecture will be delivered by Mr. Saw Tun Lin (Consultant, SEAMEO SPAFA) and Ms. Ohmmar Myo (Senior Researcher, SEAMEO SPAFA; President, Myanmar Archaeology Association), who will offer firsthand perspectives on the damage assessment, conservation challenges, and ongoing restoration efforts in affected heritage sites.

The event will commence with opening remarks by Mr. Khemchat Thepchai, Centre Director of SEAMEO SPAFA. The session will be moderated by Dr. Pipad Krajaejun, Department of History, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University.
